Install Debian lenny 5.03 for i386

Prefer a graphical installer to have screenshots ;)
Choose English for the installation process.
Select other from the shortlist.
Select Europe
...and then choose Cyprus.
Choose the appropriate keyboard layout.
The installer checks the installation DVD, hardware.
Prefered DHCP protocol to assign to the server an ip address at the begining. After the installation will finish i will setup the ethernet configuration manually. DCHP server gives me a local IP address 192.168.10.2
Give for my first client server a unique name - arc1 by which a network-attached device is known on a network.
Give a domain agapiou.net. Maybe a domain name will be change to a subdomain (Example: arc1.agapiou.net) so all the servers will be part of a large domain. This will be done manually by edit the file hosts.
Create a partition on my hard disk using entire dsik.
The new external hard disk IDE 320GB.
Create only two partition the swap and main partition.In the main partition will be mounted all the folders /home, /etc, /sbin ...
Click Finish and the swap and / (main partition) will be formated using swap and ext3 file type respectively.
Confirm that we whant to write the changes to the disk.
The base system is installed. Configure the package manage. Scan DVD 1 until 5 using the apt program.
Give password for the root which is ... ;)
Give full name for the user that it will be created in the next step.
Create user stelios with non administratives activities.
Enter twice password for the user stelios.
Now i configure the sourcel.ist. Prefer http mirrors so we can download all the latest programs and system updates quickly.
Choose Greece from the list.
Select otenet server which the downloading is too fast.
Leave this field blank because i don't use any proxy server to have access to the internet.
Updating package.
No need to participate in the package usage servey.
Select the above collections software.
The required packages are installed on the system.
Istall Grub to the master boot record. - No need but it gives as extra oprion to boot in safe mode. Maybe in the future this option will be helpful.
Installation is complete. I removed the DVD from the drive and reboot the system. Enter into the the bios and give first device prioority the IDE 1 which is my hard disk.
